Skype offers free wi-fi access this week

Just a reminder on a story we wrote last week, regarding the offer Skype has on for free wi-fi access.

Yes, to celebrate this week, which is Internet Week Europe, you can access most wi-fi hotspots up and down the UK with Skype kindly footing the bill.

Not every network is supported, but hotspots from the likes of BT Openzone, The Cloud, and a number of other providers are.

To get on board, you’ll need the Skype Access app, which allows a user to access other company’s wi-fi spots, paying with Skype credit. Except Skype will foot any bills itself this week, of course.

Enjoy your free online lunch while it lasts…
